Cony Middle and High School, Augusta
Cony Middle and High School has started using Orange Pass this year and so far it is amazing.
Brewer High School
At Brewer High School, we have started using the digital hall pass system that is part of Infinite Campus. It has gone pretty well, although students still need continual reminders to ‘end their hall pass’ when they get to where they are going. However, it is very helpful in understanding where our students are going.
Gardiner High School
We are using Smartpass and love it. Easy to use.
Gorham Middle School
At Gorham Middle School we use a platform called Orange Pass, which is a digital system that is built and maintained by students and teachers in the Portland School District. This is our second year using it, and we like it quite a bit. It allows us to see who is leaving the classroom frequently and also allows us to keep certain students out of the hallway at the same time for a variety of reasons.
Fort Fairfield High School
We use Securly Pass system and Securly Classroom and have been very happy with both.
Lisbon High School
Lisbon High School is using the Securly digital hall pass system. This has been going great! The information has been beneficial and a support in team meetings (i.e. instructional time missed when leaving for extended amounts of time per period). We have also been able to “block” passes between students if there are issues amongst them. We have used this as a strategy when parents/students note concerns of “bullying” type behaviors between students.
Nokomis Regional High, Newport
We are using Smart Pass.
Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School
Here at OHCHS we use OrangePass as our digital pass system (orangepasses.com). I feel it is going pretty well, and allows us as admin to track student data (i.e. who uses the most passes, when the most passes are out) and set-up “Bathroom Buddies” – Students whose passes will be denied if specific students are already out on a pass.
Mt. Ararat High School, Topsham
We are currently using SmartPass.
Windham High School
Windham High School and WMS use Securely Pass. It is going well. We like it and the kids seem to like it. We only use it on our laptops (no QR codes or phones).
