REPEAT OF SEPTEMBER 27, 2019
About the Program:
* Problems with the traditional evaluation model.
* Ineffective solutions that are being tried, and how student achievement should be used.
* Offer a five-part model for truly effective teacher supervision and evaluation: 1.) Frequent, short, unannounced visits with face-to-face feedback conversations after each one; 2.) Principals working closely with teacher teams on curriculum unit design; 3.) Principals working closely with teacher teams on interim assessment analysis and follow-up; 4.) Student survey data as a way of informing teacher practice; and 5.) Using rubrics for end-of-year teacher evaluation.
