Maine’s Positive PRINCIPALS Story of the Day ~ Every Principal in Aroostook County ~
In honor of National Principals’ Month, every day in October we are going to be honoring principals. Today we are honoring the administrators in Aroostook County.
On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, Pk-12 principals, assistant principals, superintendents, and special education directors met at the Northeastland Hotel in Presque Isle. They took the initiative and invited all of their local state senators and house representatives to join them in a collaborative discussion about the needs of Maine public schools. Senate President, Troy Jackson, Senator Trey Stewart, and Representative Ed Polewarczyk attended the event. Together they addressed key issues in Maine schools and have committed to working collaboratively with future legislation to improve Maine Schools.
