Maine’s Positive PRINCIPAL Story of the Day ~ James Black, Principal of Mt Blue Middle School in Farmington ~
In honor of National Principals’ Month, every day in October we are going to be honoring principals. Today we are celebrating James Black.
James Black was a high school social studies teacher for 10 years at MSAD 54. He then became a school administrator for 10 years including Dean of Students at MSAD 58, AP/AD RSU 73. James has served as the principal at Mt. Blue Middle School in Farmington since 2017. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Maine Principals’ Association.
“One of the best parts of being a principal is seeing students in the community and having them come up to me and share how much they love coming to school everyday.”
