Maine’s Positive PRINCIPALS Story of the Day ~ Ben Lothrop, Limestone Community School ~
In honor of National Principals’ Month, every day in October we are going to be honoring principals. Today we are honoring Ben Lothrop.
Ben has been the principal of Limestone Community School for four years. He has also been a school administrator at Van Buren District School and Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln. His teaching career began in Limestone and took eventually took him to Ashland Community High School for a few years.
“There are a lot of things I enjoy about the principalship, including working with my students in grades PreK-8 and working with a great staff here at LCS. We have many opportunities to take our students to do and see things they might not normally be exposed to! I also take great pride in seeing a plan we put into place come together and be successful!”
