Maine’s Positive Story of the Day from Walton School in Auburn ~

Covid may have thrown us a curve ball when it comes to connecting with families in person, but Walton School has embraced this challenge.  Walton continues to engage families in a virtual fashion.  Covid was not going to stop the annual Harvest Dance!   Students dressed in costume and Zoomed for an hour of dancing while Principal Davis was the D.J.  In early November Walton held a virtual “Students of the Month” assembly and families from around the globe logged on to view.  Later that month 150 family members logged on to participate in the annual Turkey Bingo! Students won board games and families won turkeys to enjoy on Thanksgiving. Up next is the annual holiday sing-a-long in December and Sweetheart Bingo in February.
