Maine’s Positive Story of the Day from Mt. Blue Middle School in Farmington ~
We have a staff Chili/Chowder challenge that takes place at MBMS which helps lift spirits and keep the climate positive. Staff members anonymously make their favorite recipes of either a chili or chowder and leave them in the teachers lounge. Staff then sample each and vote for both a winning chili and chowder. The coveted “Golden Pots” are then handed out to the winner. Names from each year’s winner are added and the pots which stay in the teachers room until next year. It’s a great little activity to keep things positive. These are this year’s winners.
