Maine’s Positive Story of the Day ~ Hancock County Technical Center in Ellsworth ~
This summer we hosted a Career Explorations Middle School Summer camp during the week of July 17th – 21st. We had a group of 20 6th – 8th grade students that we brought to Hancock County and Penobscot County locations to hear about and experience career options. It was a memorable week with an amazing group of students and our wonderful staff exploring the following locations: Husson University, NESCom, WABI, The Schoodic Institute, C & L Aviation, Army National Guard, Jackson Lab and the Oceanarium. We also had a day at HCTC with our Health Occupations and Law Enforcement Instructors. A special thank you to everyone who worked with us to host our crew and to the MELMAC Foundation for making this a FREE even for students!
