Maine’s Positive PRINCIPAL Story of the Day ~ Kim Liscomb, Principal of Cony Middle and High School, Augusta ~

In honor of National Principals’ Month, every day in October we are going to be honoring principals every day.  Today we are celebrating Kim Liscomb, principal of Cony Middle and High School in Augusta.  Kim has been an administrator of Cony Middle and High School for 14 years.  Prior to that Kim was a Social Studies teacher within central Maine schools.  She served in the Maine Legislature and on the School Board for a number of years.  In the MPA, Kim has been the chair of the legislative committee, been on the Board of Directors, and is now the President-Elect of our association.  She comments, “The best part of being a principal is working with incredible educators to support and educate our students—the future of our country!”
