Maine’s Positive Story of the Day ~Limestone Community School ~
Harry’s Motor Sports in Presque Isle delivered this new Kawasaki side-by-side utility vehicle to the LCS Outdoor Program today! The vehicle was paid for by using all federal monies from the RREV Award we received this fall. This award is managed by the Maine Department of Education for innovative learning.
The side-by-side will be used for many different activities here at the school, including winter and summer trail dragging and maintenance, ice fishing, wreath making, syrup manufacturing, greenhouse and school farm work. It also helps us to remain IDEA compliant with our Outdoor Program, as students with mobility issues will have a way to be involved with our activities.
The is the first major purchase with the award. Stay tuned for more information as we develop the new and exciting program for the students of LCS for many years to come!
Thanks to Harry’s Motor Sports for setting us up with this cool rig!
