Maine’s Positive Story of the Day ~ Mount Desert Island High School, Bar Harbor ~
In a recent faculty/staff meeting educators shared something that works for them to make students feel welcome in their space. After they wrote their strategy on a small sheet of paper they took time to read everyone else’s responses. They each chose one they wanted to know more about, took the sheet of paper and found the person who wrote it. The conversations that ensued were truly inspiring.
