Maine’s Positive Story of the Day ~ Smith School in Winterport ~

Smith School students (Winterport) enjoyed a visit from Charlie Bea, a therapy dog. Handler Krummel brought Charlie Bea for a quick visit to all classrooms. Students learned that therapy dogs work at their job, just like people, and about the similarities and differences between therapy dogs and service dogs. Students also learned therapy dogs work at places like libraries and nursing homes. Charlie Bea was a perfect visitor!
