Maine’s Principal of the Day ~ Brian Jandreau, Principal of Gorham High School ~
October is Principals’ Month and in honor of Maine’s exceptional principals, the “MPA Positive Story of the Day” will feature a Maine Principal every day. Today we are honoring Brian Jandreau, Principal of Gorham High School.
Brian Jandreau was an English teacher for nine years at South Portland High School before becoming an Assistant Principal at Massabesic Middle School for two years and at Gorham High School for three years. Since 2016, he has been the principal at Gorham High School where he led the school in the creation of its Aspire Gorham Program, including extended learning and early college opportunities, and its GHS Creates initiative. In recent years, he has presented at the Association of School Counselors Association national conference and the Great School Partnership’s School Redesign in Action regional conference, and he will be presenting at the Maine School Management’s Fall Conference later this month a workshop titled “Unlocking Student Creativity.” Brian is proud to be a principal in Maine where he gets to support students and teachers pursue their goals.
