Maine’s Principal of the Day ~ Charity Williams, Principal of Princeton Elementary ~
October is Principals’ Month and in honor of Maine’s exceptional principals, the “MPA Positive Story of the Day” will feature a Maine Principal every day. Today we are honoring Charity Williams, Principal of Princeton Elementary.
Charity Williams has served as an elementary teacher for a decade and as Principal of Princeton Elementary School for the past 11 years. Her professional contributions include serving on the Maine Curriculum Leaders Association board of directors, the Washington County Leadership Team board, and coordinating the Washington County Principals Association. Additionally, she has been a Transformational Leadership Network Facilitator for the Maine Department of Education and a member of the Maine Principals Association. Charity also takes on roles as a cross-country coach, student council advisor, school podcast advisor, SEL instructor, and yoga instructor.
“One of the most rewarding aspects of being a principal is witnessing the growth of my students throughout their 10-year journey at Princeton Elementary School. I find joy in greeting each student and staff member every day, fostering leadership skills in my students, and developing creative solutions to support students in overcoming challenges.” ~ Charity Williams
