Maine’s Principal of the Day ~ Jason O’Reilly, Principal of John Bapst High School in Bangor ~
October is Principals’ Month and in honor of Maine’s exceptional principals, the “MPA Positive Story of the Day” will feature a Maine Principal every day. Today we are honoring Jason O’Reilly, Principal of John Bapst High School in Bangor.
Jason O’Reilly taught American history for 21 years at Nokomis Regional High School in Newport and John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor before becoming Principal and Academic Dean at John Bapst in 2021. He was a long-time Reader for the College Board, scoring A.P. U.S. History exams. In addition to being the principal, Jason also is entering his 11th season as the head coach of the varsity baseball team at John Bapst.
